CRANE OPERATOR – BURWASH LANDING, YUKON

GenMec ACL Inc. is hiring an experienced Crane Operator to join our team on our project in Burwash Landing, Yukon Territory.

We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused operator to support our construction crew with crane operations required for wall erection and installation on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate crane equipment to support wall erection and general construction activities

Lift, position, and place wall sections, structural components, and construction materials

Work closely with site supervision, carpenters, framers, and ground personnel during lifting operations

Complete required pre-use inspections and identify equipment concerns

Follow lift plans, site procedures, manufacturer requirements, and applicable safety regulations

Maintain transparent communication with riggers, signal persons, and the site team

Assist with other lifting and material-handling activities as required

What We’re Looking For:

Valid crane operator certification/ticket applicable to the equipment being operated





Previous construction-site crane operating experience

Experience supporting wall erection, framing, or structural construction is a strong asset

Strong understanding of safe lifting, rigging, load control, and signaling practices

Ability to work effectively with a construction crew in an active jobsite environment

Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence preferred

CSTS and other required safety certifications considered an asset

Must be able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions

Project Location: Burwash Landing, Yukon Territory
Employment: Project-based / temporary
Start Date: ASAP
