This role is key for GFL Environmental, ensuring effective waste collection for residential customers. You will operate collection trucks, conduct routine inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Your experience will help you manage disposal of waste safely while updating service records and collaborating with supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate collection trucks and equipment safely
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and report mechanical issues
• Identify and manage hazardous waste per protocols
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and maintain records
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Class 3 driver’s license required
• At least one year of commercial driving experience
• Meet physical demands, including lifting 50 lbs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
