GNF Commercial Management Limited is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
This is a full-time, permanent on-site position supporting civil, residential, and commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities structural design, drafting, and analysis using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
collaborating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
supporting structural engineering projects from concept through completion
conducting structural assessments
preparing technical reports, drawings, and specifications
ensuring work complies with applicable codes and standards
Requirements Candidates should have experience in structural engineering design and project coordination.
Proficiency with CAD and design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience with MicroStation, Mathcad, Civil 3D, or Bluebeam is an asset.
Familiarity with Nova Scotia building codes, regulations, and construction standards is an asset.
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work in office regularly in Halifax.
