In this position, you will be part of a caring team focused on client safety and well-being within the Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program. You will monitor clients’ status and report any changes to the nursing staff, ensuring continuity in care. Your role is essential in maintaining the high standards set by Carewest's core mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Observe and report on client condition and progress
• Administer medications accurately as per policy
• Provide assistance with daily activities and transitions
• Maintain high qualified and ethical care standards
• Support additional duties required for client well-being
Requirements:
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an Alberta-approved Health Care Aide program
• Current CLHA registration mandatory
• Physical capability for lifting and assisting clients
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment beneficial
