Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Software Developer (.NET) in the Utilities in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. Seeking an experienced Senior .NET Software Developer to join our team on a contract basis, reporting directly to the project's Tech Lead. You will work on an internal web application designed to streamline and improve processes for our transportation team, covering aspects such as rail logistics, fleet management, and invoice reconciliation. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while collaborating closely with our dedicated team to create impactful, high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance web application features using C#, ASP.NET Blazor, and Entity Framework.
Design and optimize SQL Server database solutions to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
Integrate application functionality with Microsoft Azure services for hosting, storage, and security.
Use Azure DevOps for Git source control and work/sprint planning, contributing to a structured and efficient development process.




Requirements Proven experience in software development with a focus on .NET web applications.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Blazor, Entity Framework, SQL Server, HTML, and CSS or similar transferable skillsets.
Experience with Azure, including deployment and management of web applications.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps for Git source control and work/sprint planning.
5+ years experience in transportation or logistics software development an asset.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree.
Experience in developing C#, ASP.NET Blazor, Entity Framework, SQL Server, HTML, and CSS.
