This full-time role involves joining a supportive team on a shared three-midwife call rotation. Airdrie Midwives, established in 2017, emphasizes continuity, informed choice, and sustainability while serving Airdrie and surrounding communities. You will provide full-scope maternity care, including out-of-hospital births at the Arbour Birth Centre and hospital support at Rockyview General Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver full-scope midwifery care from early pregnancy to postpartum
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Participate in a three-midwife shared call rotation
• Support client autonomy and informed choices
• Engage in community-based midwifery practices
Requirements:
• Registration or eligibility with the College of Midwives of Alberta
• Experience as a General or New Registrant
• Robust clinical judgment and communication skills
• Compassionate approach to client-centered care
• Positive team player in a collegial environment
