Vancouver Coastal Health seeks a Family Physician specializing in Emergency to serve the Bella Bella community at Heiltsuk Hospital. This full time locum position involves vital healthcare responsibilities in a scenic island setting.

As a locum Family Physician, you will deliver emergency and primary care services to residents while working approximately 48 hours a week. Located in a community of the Heiltsuk Nation, the role includes direct patient care in both the clinic and emergency settings, supported by a robust healthcare team. Emergency experience and valid certifications are necessary for this impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide emergency medical interventions as needed • Offer routine health care services to residents • Participate actively in the hospital's call schedule • Ensure quality assessments and treatments in various settings • Support the delivery of acute and inpatient care

Requirements: • Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications needed • Full College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC License • Emergency care experience highly valued • CCFP designation is an asset • NRP certification preferred
