Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required
Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways
Assist with labourer duties including crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, and hazard remediation
Work outside in all weather conditions
Perform winter seasonal road maintenance from October 1st to April 30th
Respond to varying weather patterns through shift work, on-call, and night shift availability
Potential for year-round employment
Requirements Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
Explicit 3-year driver’s abstract
Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset; training provided
Ability to work shift work, on-call, and night shifts as required
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in operating heavy equipment such as snowplow trucks and wheel loaders while maintaining Alberta Provincial Highways. Capable of performing physically demanding tasks and adapting to various weather conditions through shift work and on-call availability.
