The Opportunity The Analyst / Senior Analyst, Corporate Development will be a key member of the Corporate Development team, supporting the evaluation and execution of investments and strategic growth opportunities across North America, including development projects, partnerships, acquisitions, and P3 opportunities. The role will work across financial modeling, underwriting, due diligence, and internal approval processes in support of Creative Energy’s low-carbon energy and energy infrastructure growth strategy.

We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and an interest in energy infrastructure and the energy transition

What You’ll Do

- Build and maintain corporate and project finance financial models to evaluate development, partnership, acquisition, and other growth opportunities
- Conduct due diligence and synthesize findings from internal teams and external advisors
- Support screening and underwriting of opportunities, including review of market, customer, regulatory, technical, and commercial factors
- Prepare investment committee materials, management presentations, and other internal approval materials
- Support live transaction and development workstreams by coordinating inputs, tracking issues, and advancing deliverables
- Support the drafting of proposals, qualification packages, and other strategic submissions, including responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and related procurement processes
- Maintain internal trackers covering opportunity pipeline, and outreach initiatives
- Support the application of AI-enabled tools and workflow automations
- Conduct market and sector research across district energy, utilities, decarbonization, and adjacent infrastructure sectors
- As required and on an ad-hoc basis, support the regulatory processes which require financial analysis as part of the approval process for projects subject to BCUC regulation

What You Bring
- Strong financial modeling, valuation,



and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to review and synthesize commercial, financial, technical, and regulatory information
- Strong written communication skills and ability to prepare clear internal materials
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver against deadlines
- Interest in infrastructure, utilities, energy transition, and project development
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, consulting, or project finance
- Experience with financial modeling, valuation, business case development, or transaction execution
- Exposure to infrastructure, energy, utilities, renewables, real estate development, or related sectors is an asset
- Experience / proficient working with AI tools including Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude, or other applications

What We Offer

- Competitive starting salary and performance-based bonus program. The hiring salary range is CAD$60,000 - CAD$95,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
