GFL is looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic for a Monday to Friday shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Your role involves diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment for maximum efficiency.
As a qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will perform maintenance tasks, remediate operational issues, and maintain safety standards. You should bring at least one year of experience and the ability to mentor new staff while staying updated on technical advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and order necessary parts
• Complete documentation and work orders accurately
• Follow safety compliance and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work workplace
Requirements:
• Fully licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic (Journeyperson/Red Seal)
• At least one year of relevant hands-on experience
• Proficient in reading technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
• Must own tools for heavy-duty repair work
