Maintain and upkeep project vehicles and equipment
Inspect and service all vehicles and equipment
Perform performance testing
Replace or repair defective vehicle components
Diagnose operational issues and recommend replacement parts or necessary services
Order necessary spare parts and ensure timely procurement
Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and reports
Prepare cost estimates for repairs and service requests
Ensure company vehicles and equipment pass inspections and comply with provincial standards and regulations
Work in outside and indoor shop environments
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience
310T Certification is required
Driver’s License in good standing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with customers/employees
Ability to detect malfunctions
Understanding of repair tools, equipment, and testing machinery
Knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance principles, techniques, and practices
Knowledge of electronic/electrical and hydraulic systems used in vehicles
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Proficiency using technical service manuals
Knowledge of snow removal equipment, sander controllers, loaders, graders, and backhoes is an asset
Ability to perform heavy lifting and work outside
