Role – QA Lead

Location – Remote Canda PST time zone

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA / Quality Engineering Lead with solid expertise in E-commerce platforms, Mobile Application Testing, Order Flow validation, and UI Automation using Playwright. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Define, implement, and continuously improve QA policies, standards, and procedures across projects.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing for E-commerce applications, with special focus on:
- Customer purchase journey
- Cart and checkout validation
- Payment workflows
- Order management and order lifecycle flows
- Mobile app user experience and responsiveness
- Develop, maintain, and enhance UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios for web applications.
- Execute various testing types including:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
- Mobile Testing
- Cross-browser and Cross-device Testing
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using tools such as Jira or equivalent defect management tools.




- Collaborate closely with Development, Product Management, Client Stakeholders, and Offshore teams to ensure smooth and quality-driven releases.
- Analyze test results, provide actionable insights, and proactively identify quality risks.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and release activities to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive QA best practices within the team.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in E-commerce domain testing.
- Hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing (Android/iOS).
- Strong understanding of Order Flow / Order Management workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience in building scalable UI automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of API testing and integration validation.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with offshore/onshore coordination models.

Good to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Exposure to performance testing tools.
- Knowledge of cloud/mobile device testing platforms.
- Experience in retail or digital commerce platforms.
