Job Title: Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst Contractor to support a Data Science and Analytics team focused on AI, machine learning, fraud analytics, and data-driven initiatives. The successful candidate will help maintain project documentation, capture requirements, coordinate governance activities, and manage a centralized knowledge repository across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Document data models, data pipelines, AI/ML solutions, business processes, and data requirements.

Gather and maintain business, functional, and data requirements from stakeholders.

Manage and maintain a centralized documentation and knowledge-sharing repository.

Track meeting minutes, action items, decisions, project milestones, and dependencies.

Coordinate with data scientists, engineers, and business partners to collect and update project artifacts.

Support model validation and governance activities, including preparation of documentation and stakeholder communications.





Working knowledge to execute SQL and Python scripts to support analysis, validation, and documentation efforts.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or Project Coordination.

Experience documenting data, analytics, AI, or machine learning projects.

Strong requirements gathering and technical documentation skills.

Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and analytics concepts.

Strong understanding of SQL and working knowledge of Python.

Robust organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration tools is an asset.
