popular recreational lakes and award-winning vineyardsSchedule:7 days on, 7 days off, 12hr days.Position Reports To:Warehouse General SupervisorPosition Overview:We have one vacancy for a Warehouse Journeyperson. This position will be primarily focused on conducting the day to day warehousing activities in a safe, organized and efficient manner.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the physical and electronic shipping and receiving functionsInvolved in the issuing, storage and delivery of parts, equipment and drawingsAssist in creating and maintaining inventory records, storage locations and receiving logsMaintain a high level of customer service through communications with all clients including Project personnel, Contractors, Maintenance and co-workersOperate and maintain equipment and conduct daily equipment pre-op checksConduct material checks and counts as requiredWork closely with various departments to reconcile invoice and receipt outages in SAPEnsures Laydown and Storage yards are organized and maintainedWork with Maintenance personnel to ensure parts and equipment requiring lubrication, rotation, etc.
are identified and cared forComplete Customs documentation for outgoing shipments as requiredAssist and actively participate in Safety activities and meetingsOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 5 year experience working in a large industrial warehouse settingJourneyperson Industrial Warehouse Ticket or a Journeyperson Parts Person CertificateExperience working with SAP, S4 Hana, and ExcelExperience operatingequipment including Forklifts, Loaders and TelehandlerStrong typing and computer skills and attention to detailPossess a valid Class 1 driver’s license would be an assetTransportation of Dangerous Goods and GHS certificate is considered an assetOther RequirementsCandidates will be required to participate in a comprehensive qualification process, including:Successful completion of pre-placement functional screenProvide proof of a valid Class 5 driver’s licenseDemonstrate eligibility to work in CanadaProvide confirmation of valid educational requirementsCompensationThe anticipated salary for this position will be between $90,000 to $110,000. A comprehensive benefits program and performance bonus plan will also be provided.
