Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) is hiring an Accounts Payable Coordinator in Vancouver. Use your financial expertise to make a meaningful contribution to the community.
This role involves processing accounts payable transactions while ensuring compliance with financial policies. With a focus on detail and accuracy, you will manage supplier maintenance and liaise with different teams. The temporary position offers 70 hours bi-weekly, enhancing your skills in a supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee accounts payable clerks' compliance with policies • Validate invoice batches for accuracy before payment • Conduct month-end reconciliations and analyses • Facilitate training and hiring in the department • Review and reconcile contract payments timely
Requirements: • Grade 12 completion with accounting courses • At least five years of accounts payable experience • Expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel • Proven ability to reconcile general ledger accounts • Solid organization and communication abilities
