Your current role The Shaft Inspector is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and evaluating the condition and integrity of mine shaft infrastructure, hoisting systems, and associated shaft facilities to ensurepliance with regulatory requirements,pany standards, and safe operating practices.

The incumbent conducts routine inspections, identifies deficiencies, rmends corrective actions, and supports maintenance and operational teams to ensure the safe and reliable operation of shaft systems.





What you''ll need to succeed Conduct routine inspections of mine shafts, shaft infrastructure, hoisting systems, and conveyances to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Identify, document, and report structural, mechanical, and safety deficiencies, while rmending corrective actions.

Monitor shaft conditions and assess risks to ensurepliance with regulatory, operational, andpany standards.

Verify the quality andpletion of shaft maintenance, repair, and construction activities.

Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
