Position: Dental Administrator

Location: NE Calgary, AB

Clinic: Memorial Square Dental Clinic

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Administrator to join our team. Whether you’re early in your career or bring years of experience, you’ll be joining a supportive, professional environment where you can bring your expertise, energy, and empathy to the front desk.

Specifics about the role:

- Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, with 2 Saturdays per month.
- Monday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

Candidates who prefer to maintain a 5-day workweek may alternate Saturday shifts with Mondays off. The schedule currently includes 1 evening shift per week, with the potential to increase to 1–2 evening shifts per week as our office hours expand following renovations.

- - If a statutory holiday falls on a Monday or Friday, the clinic will be closed the corresponding Saturday.

What you’ll do:

- Be the warm, welcoming face of the clinic, ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for
- Manage phone calls, direct inquiries, and efficiently book appointments
- Maintain and organize the patient database with accuracy and confidentiality
- Oversee insurance claims, billing systems,



and follow up with insurance companies
- Establish and manage office protocols to keep operations running smoothly
- Coordinate and optimize appointment schedules
- Provide leadership and foster a team culture focused on outstanding client service

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental admin role.
- Knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Dentrix and MaxAssist is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
