Job Title: System Administrator Job Type: Full-Time Location: Montreal, QC (Remote) Job Overview We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to oversee production environments, manage middleware and database infrastructure, and ensure high platform availability.

In this role, you will handle database administration, middleware application management, automation scripting, and incident response to maintain critical enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities Database & Middleware Management: Administer and optimize Oracle Databases, JBOSS, and Web

Logic middleware application servers in production environments.

System Administration & Scripting: Support Unix/Linux server infrastructure and write operational shell/batch scripts for task automation and system maintenance.

Data Replication & Deployments: Manage IBM CDC (Change Data Capture) replication and coordinate release management, software deployments, and system updates.

Performance & Troubleshooting: Perform database performance tuning,



analyze system metrics, and resolve complex technical bottlenecks across database and middleware layers.

Production Support & Incident Management: Respond to real-time production issues, execute deployments, participate in on-call support rotations, and ensure system uptime.

Technical Qualifications Database Administration: Solid hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA), performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

System & Scripting: Solid proficiency in Unix/Linux administration alongside shell and batch scripting expertise.

Middleware & Data Tools: Practical experience managing JBOSS and Web

Logic application servers and handling IBM CDC replication.

Operations & Delivery: Demonstrated track record in production support, software deployments, release management, and incident escalation procedures.
