Energetic individuals needed for casual Residential Youth Care Worker roles with Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba. Flexibility for daytime, evening, and awake night shifts required.
This position is casual with no guaranteed hours, focusing on providing care for youth in a group home setting. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of post-secondary education and relevant experience working with adolescents. Your responsibilities will include supervising activities, transporting youth, and maintaining household tasks while also participating in report writing and team meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide standard youth care responsibilities
• Drive youth to appointments and school
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the household
• Assist in cooking and food preparation
• Participate in staff meetings and report writing
Requirements:
• At least one year of post-secondary education preferred
• Relevant experience with adolescents is an asset
• Valid Manitoba class 5 Driver’s license
• Standard First Aid & CPR certification
• Successful completion of background checks
