Elevate community safety and infrastructure as a Light Equipment Operator with the Town of Tillsonburg. This full time role includes diverse tasks, from snow removal to roadside maintenance in various weather conditions.

As a key player in the Public Works Division, you will ensure that Town infrastructure, including roads and drainage systems, remains well-maintained. Responsibilities include operating light machinery, supporting equipment upkeep, and reporting conditions effectively to the Roads Supervisor. Your communications and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in community interactions.

Key Responsibilities:



• Safely operate light equipment and vehicles • Perform winter snow clearing and maintenance tasks • Inspect and repair drainage and roadside infrastructure • Conduct safety barricade setups and traffic control • Keep accurate records of Transfer Station activities

Requirements: • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent experience • Two years in Public Works operations • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License • Familiarity with good customer service practices • Willingness to work in all weather conditions
