or moving materials and loads.Understand lifting and load bearing capacities of the tower crane.Securing loads with suitable lifting equipment.Communicate with operator via two-way radio and/or hand signals.Signal and direct trucks on site for loading and offloading.Inspecting rigging equipment.Rig in decks and fly tables.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFluent in English is a mustAuthorization to work in Canada.Good vision.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Knowledge of hand signals and radios.Excellent communication in English required.Valuable math skills.Safe work ethic.Working ConditionsWorking at heights.Work weeks are typically 6 days per week Monday to Saturday (10-12 hours per day).7:00 am start but can vary from site to site.Two paid 15 minutes breaks and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day.Exposure to cold/hot weather.
