Your Opportunity

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and success of our full-service restaurant operation at YVR. You will lead a high-performing team, drive financial results, ensure operational excellence, and create a culture where both guests and team members thrive.

What You'll Do

Lead and Inspire

- Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse team of hospitality professionals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, recognition, and continuous improvement.
- Coach managers and team members to achieve exceptional service standards and operational excellence.

Deliver Outstanding Guest Experiences

- Ensure every guest receives warm, attentive, and personalized service.
- Build a culture centered on hospitality, quality, and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.

Drive Business Performance

- Manage sales, profitability, labor costs, and controllable expenses.
- Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve efficiency.
- Execute strategies that support operational growth while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Oversee Operational Excellence

- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, airport regulations, and health requirements.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and execution throughout the operation.
- Manage inventory, purchasing,



scheduling, and daily restaurant operations.

Champion the Vino Volo Brand

- Promote wine education and enhance the guest experience through product knowledge and storytelling.
- Build excitement around our food, beverage, and wine offerings.
- Continuously seek opportunities to elevate the dining experience and strengthen the brand's presence within YVR.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of restaurant management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven experience leading high-volume, full-service restaurant operations.
- Demonstrated success in people leadership, coaching, and team development.
- Strong understanding of financial management, labor planning, and restaurant profitability.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak travel periods.

Preferred Qualifications

- Multi-unit or airport hospitality experience.
- Wine, beer, or beverage knowledge and a passion for food and hospitality.
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $78,000 - $88,000 annually

Location: YVR airport

This position is also eligible to participate in the company's annual performance bonus program and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, and career development opportunities.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.
