Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and technically skilled CNC Programmer - Mechanical Engineering to join our client''s team.

This role is ideal for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate or an individual with experience in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for reviewing and modifying 3D CAD models, creating CNC milling machine programs, and collaborating closely with engineers and designers throughout the development process to ensure designs meet DFMA standards while maintaining all project requirements.

Works models, drawings, sketches, and design data to determine dimensions, cutting configurations, tooling requirements, machine speeds, and feed rates.

Review and modify 3D CAD models to ensure compliance with DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) standards.

Determine stock material sizes and prepare order sheets for raw material requirements.

Create CNC machine programs using G-code for milling operations.

Generate numeric control files (.TAP, .CNC, .NC) using the appropriate post-processors.

Verify CNC programs using CAMWorks simulation to ensure proper material removal and prevent collisions, gouging, or tooling issues.

Prepare setup sheets, job instructions, and process documentation to support machine operators.





Modify and optimize machining programs to improve efficiency and eliminate programming errors.

Observe machine trial runs and validate programmed instructions.

Collaborate with Department Managers, Engineers, and Group Leaders to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Follow company quality standards, policies, and procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work area through daily housekeeping activities.

Report health and safety concerns promptly and adhere to all Occupational Health & Safety regulations.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in CNC programming, CAD/CAM, or manufacturing environments.

Experience working with Solid

Works , CAM software, and CNC machining processes is an asset.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong time management and attention to detail.

Ability to read and interpret design briefs, technical drawings, safety procedures, and operational manuals.

Proficient in preparing reports, documentation, and correspondence.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
