THE ROLE: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join their corporate accounting team on a six-month contract.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a complex, fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in monthly and quarterly close activities, financial analysis, and technical accounting initiatives Key responsibilities include: Reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, working papers, and financial reporting prepared by junior team members Supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance Managing payroll and compensation-related accounting reconciliations and entries Preparing and reviewing G& A accruals, incentive compensation accruals, and intercompany transactions Analyzing debt and treasury transactions, including interest calculations and amortization activities Assisting with capital accounting and derivative accounting entries Conducting IFRS accounting research and providing recommendations on technical accounting matters Partnering with business units to support forecasting, accruals, and budget reforecast activities Leveraging SAP and advanced Excel tools to analyze large and complex data sets ABOUT YOU:



You are a CPA-designated accounting professional with experience working in a large corporate environment, ideally within the oil and gas sector.

You bring a robust technical accounting foundation, thrive in deadline-driven environments, and are comfortable taking ownership of your work with minimal supervision.

Known for your initiative, attention to detail, and analytical mindset, you enjoy solving complex accounting issues, working with large volumes of data, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

You are a strong communicator who can effectively build relationships while delivering accurate and timely financial information. WHAT''S ON OFFER?
