About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Geoscience and Technical Product to lead the development of an AI-powered mineral exploration platform. This role is pivotal in translating the decision-making processes of experienced exploration professionals into practical AI-driven tools that enhance discovery and improve exploration outcomes. The successful candidate will serve as the geological authority and technical champion for the platform, integrating exploration geology into product strategy, and guiding the development of geological decision-support tools. Key responsibilities include establishing validation frameworks, quality assurance processes, and confidence-scoring methodologies, as well as ensuring that AI-generated outputs are scientifically defensible and practical for exploration teams. The role also involves close collaboration with software developers, AI engineers, and industry leaders,



and acting as the voice of the geologist throughout product development.

Applicants for the Head of Geoscience and Technical Product position at the company should have a robust background in mineral exploration, economic geology, or resource development, with at least 10 years' of industry experience. A deep understanding of mineral systems, structural geology, and exploration strategy is essential, as is experience with industry-standard geological software. The ideal candidate will have a curious, innovative mindset, and a genuine enthusiasm for the application of AI and emerging technologies in mineral exploration. Academic qualifications in geology, earth sciences, geological engineering, or a related discipline are required, with a P.Geo. or equivalent designation considered an asset.
