As part of Alberta Health Services' Environmental Services team, you will conduct daily cleaning and maintenance duties while prioritizing safety and hygiene. Your tasks include operating industrial cleaning equipment, deep cleaning, and interacting with patients, ensuring a healthy environment for all. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including shifts on weekends and evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Disinfect and maintain cleanliness in healthcare environments
• Operate industrial cleaning machines safely




• Empty and manage hazardous waste as necessary
• Restock and replenish supplies in bathrooms
• Train new staff on environmental service protocols
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
• Physically capable to lift, push, and pull required weights
• Ability to use smartphones and follow instructions in English
• Previous experience in hospital cleaning is preferred
• Knowledge of WHMIS and safety best practices beneficial
