**How you will contribute**
You will be the point of contact for multiple internal and external locations on quality related topics, ensuring products meet design, food safety and quality policy requirements.

In this role, you will support R&D; to design products, specifications and capabilities to bring consumer-inspired quality to life.

To excel in this role, you will drive implementation of regional and global strategies; identify, report, monitor and direct corrective and preventive actions associated with quality KPIs, and partner with cross-functional internal and external business partners (R&D;, regulatory, marketing and manufacturing) to meet our quality agenda.

In addition, you will lead regional quality programs; share best practices among manufacturing sites through quality benchmarking; manage special situations and early warnings with respect to plant investigations, root-cause analysis and follow-up to protect Mondelēz International and our consumers, and; be an ambassador, driving quality and sharing expertise with colleagues to ensure that quality improvement becomes an instinctive culture across the business.

**More about this role**
**What you need to know about this position:**
As the Quality Leader and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the North America Confections Category at Mondelēz, you will be the primary quality partner, ensuring our brands and consumers are protected.

You will collaborate closely with Marketing and R&D;, providing quality direction for NA Confections commercialization projects.

This role involves prioritizing projects for the North America quality team and communicating quality resourcing needs to cross-functional teams via established governance forums.

This position also provides BU Quality support to the NA Halls business in a Business Unit capacity, interfacing with cross-functional teams (Marketing, R&D;, Sales, Finance, Supply, and Customer Service & Logistics) and partnering closely with Plant Quality Teams across North America.

Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will lead quality activities to enable successful execution of business objectives, maintaining and growing our brands with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, demonstrated technical expertise, influencing capabilities, and a deep understanding of consumers, applicable regulations, and business objectives.

You will be accountable for communicating with key stakeholders and influencing decisions based on data-driven analysis and interpretation of results.
**Primary Responsibilities**




Serve as the quality representative in I2M governance meetings and Category Commercialization Teams; develop and deploy End-to-End Brand Quality Strategy and Roadmaps; identify and apply consistent best practices across the supply chain
Ensure all projects meet design, food safety, and quality policy requirements as defined by the commercialization process; communicate quality resource needs and potential risks to cross-functional teams; serve as the voice of quality in brand prioritization and cross-functional meetings
Drive quality compliance excellence and champion GMP and food safety initiatives across manufacturing sites; ensure all operations meet global quality policies and applicable regulatory requirements; support plant quality teams during 3rd party inspections and audits; conduct routine assessments for regulatory compliance
Promote consumer-centric behavior and drive accountability for consumer-inspired quality; identify opportunities for quality improvement and recommend solutions to protect and delight consumers; manage day-to-day brand quality responsibilities including consumer and customer issue resolution
Facilitate root cause analysis and lessons learned on quality incidents; partner with R&D;, Supply Chain, and Operations on quality execution and consumer-validated design; drive quality culture improvements and accountability across assigned areas
Serve as the BU Quality contact for assigned internal manufacturing sites; provide network support to the end-to-end supply chain in meeting business objectives and enabling growth
Drive and influence continuous improvement initiatives related to complaint reduction and compliance to applicable internal and external policies and regulations across factories and the network

**Education / Certifications:**
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related scientific field.
**Job specific requirements:**
Minimum 5+ years related experience (Quality, Food Safety &/or R&D;)
Experience with OTC/DS/NHP regulations is desired.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.

Fundamental understanding of Sanitation, Hygienic Design, Pest Control, Quality, HACCP, and Food Safety principles.

Highly proficient computer (MS Office) and Communication skills (Verbal and Written) are required
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
**Travel requirements:**
Approximately 15% travel may be required

**Salary and Benefits:**
The expected base salary range for this position is $93,300 to $116,650 CAD depending on several factors such as experience,



skills, education, and budget.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program.
