**Commercial Carpenter (3rd Year Apprentice or Higher)**
**About the Role**
We're seeking an experienced Commercial Carpenter (3rd Year Apprentice or Journeyperson) to join our team on commercial construction projects in Edmonton and Red Deer.

This role involves both rough and finish carpentry on new-build retail, office, and commercial projects.
**Responsibilities**
Perform rough carpentry, framing, backing, parapets, and guardrail installation.

Complete finish carpentry, trim work, hardware installation, and interior fit-outs.

Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Assist with concrete preparation and general commercial construction tasks.

Maintain a safe, clean work environment and support project schedules.
**Qualifications**
3rd Year Carpenter Apprentice or Journeyperson Carpenter.

Commercial construction experience required.

Strong framing, rough-in, and finishing carpentry skills.

Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
CSTS certification required.

Valid Fall Protection and First Aid certifications preferred.

Reliable transportation to various job sites.
**Preferred Assets**
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification.

Telehandler or Skid Steer experience/certification.

Experience with metal stud framing and laser layout tools.

Leadership or mentoring experience.
**Schedule & Location**
Edmonton and Red Deer commercial construction projects.

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Overtime available after 44 hours/week.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity,



and other pertinent job-related factors.
