**Job Title: Warehouse Order Picker – Night Shift**
**Job Description**
This role supports a high-volume distribution operation by safely operating power pallet equipment, accurately picking and scanning orders, and preparing pallets for outbound shipment.

You will work in a fast-paced receiving and shipping environment, handling heavy products and ensuring orders are completed efficiently and accurately for the Winners department at a large third-party logistics facility.
**Responsibilities**
Operate an end rider power pallet jack to move products and pallets safely throughout the warehouse.

Load and unload trailers, ensuring products are handled carefully and placed in the correct locations.

Use an RF scanner to scan, track, and verify products and orders with a high level of accuracy.

Pick orders for shipping according to pick lists and RF instructions, ensuring correct items and quantities.

Build and wrap pallets securely to prepare orders for transportation and prevent product damage.

Perform consistent heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs throughout the shift to move, sort, and stack products.

Support shipping and receiving activities, including sorting, staging, loading, and unloading freight.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing debris and keeping aisles clear.

Adapt to changing priorities and processes in a dynamic warehouse environment to meet operational goals.

Collaborate with team members and follow direction from leads and supervisors to complete daily workload.

Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines while operating equipment and handling products.
**Essential Skills**
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs consistently for an 8-hour shift, including up to 2 hours of continuous lifting as required.

Previous warehouse experience in a distribution, logistics, or similar environment.

Experience using an RF scanner for order picking, inventory, or shipping and receiving tasks.

Comfort working in a rapid-paced receiving and shipping department with time-sensitive workloads.

Ability to operate or learn to operate power pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.

Strong attention to detail when picking, scanning, and preparing orders for shipment.

Willingness to work night shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Sunday to Thursday, with openness to working additional days as needed.

Reliability and consistency in attendance and performance in a physically demanding role.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience with heavy lifting, general labour, and warehouse operations such as sorting and order picking.

Previous shipping and receiving experience, including loading and unloading trailers.

Hands-on experience building and wrapping pallets for outbound shipments.

Power pallet jack or hand pallet jack experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.

Experience using RF scanners in multiple functions such as picking, receiving, and inventory.

Background in cleaning or janitorial work within an industrial or warehouse setting.





Comfort working with minimal rigid processes and adapting to evolving procedures and priorities.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a large third-party logistics warehouse within an extremely fast-paced receiving department, primarily supporting different distribution streams.

The facility employs approximately 20–30 team members, including power pallet operators and warehouse workers, who collaborate closely to keep freight moving.

The dress code is typical for a warehouse setting, emphasizing safety and practicality, including appropriate footwear and attire suitable for heavy lifting and equipment operation.

The role is on the night shift, running from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, with the expectation that you remain open to working any day of the week based on operational needs.

The workplace culture is flexible and dynamic, with fewer rigid processes, requiring you to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining safety and productivity.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
