**General Laborer**
**Job Description**
As a General Laborer, you will be accountable for working in various production areas, utilizing both hand and power tools to contribute to productive manufacturing processes.
**Responsibilities**
Work in different production areas.

Utilize various hand and power tools effectively.

Read and interpret tape measures accurately.

Solve problems with strong analytical skills.

Lift up to 50 pounds safely.

Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Maintain punctuality and dependability.

Be open to working overtime on weekdays and/or weekends, when required.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

**Work Environment**
Work is conducted in a brand-new, clean shop environment.

The position requires working overnight shifts from 9:45 pm to 6:15 am, Monday through Friday.

Employees will begin with a four-day orientation, including three days in the classroom and a fourth day for on-the-job evaluation and training.

The shift schedules incorporate paid 15-minute shuttle periods, paid 15-minute rest breaks, and an unpaid 30-minute meal break, ensuring eight hours of paid work per shift.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $25.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
