Role Description The Mathematics Tutor will provide remote, one-on-one and small-group instruction to students in various grade levels, with a focus on foundational and advanced math concepts. This contract role involves planning and delivering engaging online tutoring sessions, assessing student understanding, and adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. The tutor will explain mathematical concepts clearly, offer practice problems, review homework, and help students prepare for tests and exams.





Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of student progress, communicating regularly with students and caregivers, and collaborating with The Flawless Academy team to support overall academic success.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong subject-matter skills in Mathematics, including comfort with core concepts across grade levels.
- Candidates should possess skills in Tutoring and Online Tutoring, with experience delivering structured lessons in virtual environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Algebra, with the ability to explain problem-solving methods and support test preparation.
- Candidates should possess robust Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with students and caregivers.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field (or equivalent demonstrated experience).
- Experience working with diverse learners and adapting instruction for different ages and academic levels.
- Reliable internet connection, familiarity with online teaching platforms, and basic technical troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated patience, professionalism, and a learner-centered approach to teaching.
