Travel Required: Yes

: Provides intensive case management to individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness. These services are provided within an individual and/or group context.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

- Min. 2 yrs clinical exp. in opioid & alcohol withdrawal assessment
- Experience working with Indigenous culture/traditions/health
- Min. 2 yrs exp. in harm reduction strategies & conducting physical assessments

Education

- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)

Licenses

- Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Phlebotomy course
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

- Knowledge in various mental health and addiction and harm reduction strategies
- Trained in current ASIST suicide risk assessment model

Other Information

- May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives
- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS

- The primary responsibility of this position is sedentary. However, there might be moments requiring travels within the community.
