- Processing bulk payments, funding payments, monitoring payment process, looking for payment failure, processing payment, follow up on post processing compliance cases, refunds, ensuring reconciliation in check
- Reconciliation is key - must have 1 year experience
- Understand payments - must be familiar with types of payments
- Accounting fundamentals
- Excel experience (plus if they have done macros - finding a break)
- Investigate payment exceptions and discrepancies.
- Perform daily account and transaction reconciliations.
- Process and investigate wire payment transactions, MX and SWIFT payments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.
- Ensure payment processing aligns with operational procedures and service standards.
Must-Haves:
- 1-2 years of Reconciliation
- 1 year Previous experience in payment processing or payment investigations
- Understand Payments - must be familiar with types of payments (MX, MT, Swift, etc.)
- Understand Accounting fundamentals
- Excel experience
Pluses:
- Advanced Excel functions i.e. macros - finding a break
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in banking or financial services payment operations.
- Knowledge of payment operations and settlement processes.
- Experience with large financial institutions.
- Familiarity with payment compliance and operational risk.
