The Emergency Departments at the Hamilton General Hospital (HGH) and Juravinski Hospital (JH) provide full services for the region’s adult patient population.

Emergency

Department wait time is identified as an key HHS quality of care indicator that aligns with organizational goals to achieve a more seamless healthcare system. In-patient services are provided via consults and out-patient services are provided through established out-patient clinics. Collaboration with clinical partners in multi-disciplinary care is an important part of the clinical care provided by the Emergency Department.

- Graduate of Physician Assistant Program
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting an asset
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions in times of emergencies
- Demonstrated ability to work alongside Intensivists, Nurses and other Health Care Professionals
