Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Project Coordinator to join our growing Special Projects Division at Antex Western. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project activities, communicating with stakeholders, managing project timelines, and ensuring that client’s requirements are in line with project goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day project activities in support of the Project Team.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including drawings, specifications, correspondence, and reports.
- Track and follow up on action items from project meetings.
- Coordinate communication between owners, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs), Submittals and general project communications, ensuring timely preparation, distribution, response, and close-out.
- Coordinate proposed changes, including scope clarifications, pricing requests, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with preparation, review, and administration of change orders, site instructions, and contract amendments. Maintaining accurate logs for proposed changes, change orders, and contract correspondence.




- Support proper contract management by ensuring work aligns with contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist in identifying potential contract risks, scope gaps, and schedule or cost impacts related to changes.
- Assist with RFQ, pricing of changes, and scope adjustments.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project scope.
- Demonstrate a working understanding of construction estimates, including labour, material, equipment, and subcontracted work.
- Assist with review of subcontractor progress claims and invoices.
- Support financial reporting and project close-out cost documentation.
- Assist with developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules.
- Coordinate with the Site Supervisors and Vendors to confirm sequencing, manpower, and material delivery timelines.
- Apply working knowledge of construction systems to support coordination and issue resolution.
- Support site teams with documentation, inspections, deficiency tracking, and close-out activities.
- Assist with safety documentation, quality control records, and as-built documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

- Project management education or related, preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator,



Administrator, or similar role within the construction industry.
- Experience working for a subcontractor in the industry, design & build and/or General Contractor on small to medium-sized projects is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, systems, and documentation.
- Experience supporting contract administration, change management, scheduling, and cost control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software is an asset.

- Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
- Ability to work independently and confidently within a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers, Coordinators, Site Supervisors, Foremen and Administrative Staff.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Adaptability to work on a fast-paced growing environment.

The base salary range for this position is $46,800 - $56,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for recent hire salaries for the position based on skills and experience.
