The role of Youth Worker at YouthLink encompasses a commitment to equity-based practices while offering direct supervision and support to youth in transitional housing. Key Responsibilities: • Welcome new residents and conduct intake interviews • Support youth in daily activities and long-term goals • Handle crisis situations,
ensuring resident well-being • Maintain cleanliness of the shelter environment • Record documentation accurately and on time
Requirements: • At least 1-year experience in a relevant field • Diploma in Child and Youth Work or related discipline • Certifications in First Aid/CPR and Crisis Prevention intervention are assets • Familiarity with best practices in equity and diversity • Ability to work in a pet-friendly environment
