As a Health Care Aide in this full-time temporary role, you will work within the Medicine Program to provide comprehensive support to patients with acute and chronic conditions. By assisting with their daily needs, you ensure that patients receive personalized and compassionate care. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals and be an integral part of a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with daily hygiene and mobility tasks • Engage in organized programs for patient recreation • Report on patient mood and overall health status • Collaborate effectively with nurses and healthcare teams • Maintain a clean and safe care setting
Requirements: • Active registration as a Health Care Aide or eligible • Required BLS-HCP certification • Capability to meet the physical demands of the role • One year of recent experience in acute care preferred • Experience with patient coordination is a plus
