Embark on a transformative journey as a Health and Safety Co-op at PepsiCo in Peterborough, ON. This four-month paid position offers hands-on experience in EHS practices.
You will actively support the implementation of PepsiCo's Global Environmental, Health and Safety Management System. This role provides an excellent platform to learn about EHS regulations while contributing to incident investigations and communicating vital EHS metrics. You will work closely with various stakeholders to advocate for health and safety across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing the Global EHS Management System
• Investigate EHS incidents and conduct root cause analyses
• Perform EHS Risk Assessments to identify risks
• Analyze trends and report on EHS metrics
• Maintain compliance records for regulatory purposes
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a relevant University degree or College diploma
• Solid leadership and influence skills
• High level of proficiency in MS Office
• Capacity to prioritize and manage diverse tasks
• Experience in food and beverage manufacturing is a plus
