A growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic in Northwestern British Columbia is seeking qualified Physiotherapists to join its team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload including musculoskeletal, sport, orthopedic, occupational, and post-surgical rehabilitation. This role requires strong clinical reasoning, independent practice capability, and a commitment to evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess physical function using appropriate clinical evaluation methods.
- Formulate physiotherapy diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide treatment for musculoskeletal, sport, neurological, vestibular, and post-surgical conditions.
- Deliver therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, movement retraining, and patient education.
- Support occupational rehabilitation and return-to-work planning.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Maintain a safe, professional treatment environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent international credential.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification physiotherapy experience.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
- Completion of CAPR credentialling and the Canadian Physiotherapy Examination (or accepted transition pathway).
- English proficiency sufficient for safe clinical practice and documentation.
- Skilled liability insurance meeting CHCPBC requirements.
- CPR certification preferred.
Licensing Requirement
Independent practice is only permitted once full CHCPBC licensure is obtained. Internationally educated candidates must complete all credentialling, examinations, jurisprudence, identity verification, and regulatory requirements before practising independently.
Working Conditions
- Private outpatient clinic environment.
- Direct patient care with regular standing, bending, and exercise demonstration.
