Role : Workday Business Analyst /UAT

Location : Canada (Remote)

/ Responsibilities :

- Acted as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Configured and supported Workday Benefits, including benefit plans, eligibility rules, enrollment events, life events, and dependent management.
- Created new CCB benefit integration for Sunlife, VSP, delta dental and WEX.
- Developed and maintained BRDs, Technical Design Documents, Test Plans, Test Cases, Implementation Plans, and Handover Documentation, ensuring successful solution design, testing, deployment, and transition to support teams.
- Worked closely with integration teams to ensure accurate transmission of employee, dependent, and benefits enrollment data to third-party vendors.
- Coordinated User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and production validation with business users.
- Supported Workday R1 and R2 releases by assessing impacts, coordinating regression testing, and validating Advantages functionality.
- Created Integration system users and security groups to secure EIBs.
- Build and test connector integration with change detection.
- Write an Advanced XSLT style sheet to get desired output format for EIBs and Connectors.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and third-party systems
- Designed, developed, enhanced,



and maintained Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connector Worker (CCW), PECI, PICOF and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Investigated and resolved production incidents by performing root cause analysis, debugging integration logs, analyzing Workday reports, and validating business process configurations.
- Supported inbound and outbound integrations involving HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, and Absence data.
- Developed XSLT transformations and XML processing logic to meet client-specific integration requirements.
- Worked on change requests, enhancements, and defect fixes by analyzing business requirements and implementing scalable integration solutions.
- Worked in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and release activities.
- Collaborated with functional consultants, HR, Payroll, Benefits, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot data discrepancies and implement effective solutions.
