Position: Senior Business Analyst

Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support complex business transformation and digital modernization initiatives within a large enterprise environment. The successful consultant will provide comprehensive business analysis services, working closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), project teams, and technical resources to identify business needs, document requirements, and support the successful delivery of technology-enabled business solutions.

This role requires strong expertise in requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, business process analysis, process re-engineering, business modeling, Agile delivery methodologies, and change management practices.

Scope

Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and system requirements.

Develop current-state ("As-Is") and future-state ("To-Be") business process models.

Create process maps, workflow diagrams, business models, use cases, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

Identify process improvement opportunities, business gaps, risks, dependencies, and operational impacts.

Assignment Deliverables

Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).

Functional and non-functional requirements documentation.

User stories, use cases, business rules, and acceptance criteria.





Current-state and future-state process models.

Process maps, workflow diagrams, and business models.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Demonstrated experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, and requirements-gathering activities.

Demonstrated experience developing current-state ("As-Is") and future-state ("To-Be") process models.

Experience eliciting, analysing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements.

Experience documenting business processes, business rules, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Experience identifying business needs, process improvements, risks, gaps, and opportunities.

Experience supporting business process re-engineering, transformation, and modernization initiatives.

Nice to Have:

Experience supporting enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Experience with service design, accessibility compliance, and user-centered design methodologies.
