Adecco is currently hiring an experienced Industrial Millwright to join a maintenance team within a fast-paced logistics, distribution, and automated material handling workplace in Prince Rupert, BC.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Millwright who enjoys troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, working with conveyor equipment, and supporting the reliability of automated warehouse and distribution operations. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and ensuring safe and efficient facility operations.

Pay Rate: 90000/year

Location: Prince Rupert, BC

Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Preventative & Corrective Maintenance

Perform preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, automated equipment, and material handling systems.

Execute corrective maintenance activities to restore equipment functionality and minimize downtime.

Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical issues before failures occur.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems and automated material handling equipment.

Diagnose mechanical failures and determine root causes of equipment breakdowns.

Repair or replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, and other mechanical components.

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Support emergency breakdown response activities as required.

Equipment Reliability

Maintain equipment performance and reliability through proactive maintenance initiatives.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and equipment optimization.

Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to improve productivity and reduce downtime.

Documentation & Safety





Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Complete maintenance work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.

Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certification

Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Experience working with conveyor systems, automation, or material handling equipment is considered an asset

Experience within a distribution centre, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment is considered an asset

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
