Brandt Truck & Trailers is seeking an individual to fill the position of Heavy Duty Technician in our Nisku location for a night shift (Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM-12:30 AM). This position will be responsible for performing mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Conduct or assist the Journeyman with CVIP inspections
- Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
- Ability to repair and adjust mechanical components
- Complete written and oral work orders
- Repair and adjust truck drive lines,
engines and any other necessary mechanical components
- Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.
- Other mechanical repair work and duties as required
What We Look For
- Completion of College/vocational technical training
- 1+ years as a heavy duty mechanic apprentice, specifically with drive lines/air systems including schematics and diagnostics
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to communication both verbally and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work well under pressure
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
