We are seeking a Licensed Journeymen Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles, applying your expertise to ensure top-quality repairs and maintenance. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify issues and execute repairs
- Conduct welding, assembly, and mechanical work as needed to restore vehicle functionality
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently during repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and timelines to ensure excellent customer service
- Assist with vehicle inspections,
troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Valid license as a Journeyman Automotive Technician or equivalent certification
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic background in automotive repair
- Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems
- Proficiency with schematics, assembly procedures, and diagnostic tools
- Experience with welding, heavy lifting, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards team collaboration
