Packaging Operator – Evans

Brunswick Bierworks is a leading Canadian brewery and premium beverage manufacturing partner focused on innovation, quality, and excellence in execution.

We are looking for Packaging Operators to join our new Evans manufacturing facility and help bring our new high-speed packaging operation into production.

This is an opportunity to join a new, highly automated facility from start-up, receive hands-on training on new equipment, develop strong technical skills, and grow with the operation as it ramps up.

Key Responsibilities

· Take ownership of the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment on our 96,000 cans-per-hour Krones packaging line.

· Support equipment commissioning, start-up, and production ramp-up, including hands-on equipment training.

· Complete equipment start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers, line clearance, and cleaning activities.

· Monitor equipment performance and make routine operating adjustments to maintain efficient production.

· Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate equipment, safety, or quality issues when additional support is required.

· Perform required quality checks and ensure product, packaging, coding, and finished goods meet specifications.

· Complete routine equipment inspections and operator-level care activities.

· Accurately record production, downtime, waste, and quality information.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety, food safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements.

· Participate in shift handovers and continuous improvement activities.

What We're Looking For

· Previous manufacturing, production, or packaging experience is preferred.

· Experience operating automated equipment is an asset.





· Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and routine equipment adjustments.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify equipment, packaging, and quality issues.

· Ability to follow procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to take ownership of assigned equipment.

· Commitment to safety, food safety, quality, and good manufacturing practices.

· Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role and work the shifts required to support a continuous manufacturing operation.

Preferred Experience

· Krones or similar high-speed automated packaging equipment.

· High-speed beverage filling, seaming, conveying, secondary packaging, or palletizing equipment.

· Beverage, food, CPG, or other high-speed manufacturing environments.

About the Evans Facility

The Evans facility represents the next stage of Brunswick Bierworks’ growth and is being built as a modern, highly automated beverage manufacturing operation featuring a new 96,000 cans-per-hour Krones packaging line and automated packaging and material-handling equipment.

Packaging Operators will join the operation during commissioning and start-up, receiving hands-on training on new equipment and developing the technical skills required to operate and troubleshoot high-speed automated technology.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $57,000.00 per year
