We are currently hiring Continuing Care Assistants for full-time vacancies.

Continuing Care Assistants are responsible for providing direct and indirect Resident care under

the supervision of the Charge Nurse and/or Director of Care. You will work within your scope of

practice and follow established policies and procedures while providing and coordinating care

with other Care Partners.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skin care, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing and

grooming, and emotional support

- Maintain confidentiality concerning residents, staff and organizational information
- Work within the CCA Scope of Practice
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain a secure and clean environment, adhere to facility infection control policies

Qualifications





- Successful completion of CCA program (required)
- Current Standard First-Aid and CPR certification (required)
- Registered with the CCA Registry (required / qualified open work permit candidates

welcome)

- Effective communication, both written and verbal in English
- Physically fit/able to perform physically demanding job duties
- Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record
