We are looking for reliable and motivated overnight staff to join our A&W; team. Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quick and quality service.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas, following food safety guidelines.
- Assist in food handling and storage to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations.
- Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks during the overnight shift while supporting team members as needed.
Skills
- Prior experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining attention to detail.
