Location: Kamloops, BC / Mine Site | Positions Available: 2 | Employment Type: Full-time contractual position | Salary Range: $40–$46 per hour, based on experience | Company Type: Industrial Electrical Contractor | Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Manager / Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking two highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrators to join an industrial electrical company supporting project work at the Teck Highland Valley Copper MLE mine site. These contractual roles will assist with the planning, coordination, documentation, and day-to-day administration of industrial electrical projects in a fast-paced site environment. The ideal candidates will be comfortable working with project teams, field supervisors, contractors, suppliers, and client representatives while ensuring that documentation, schedules, permits, invoices, safety records, and project information remain accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safety support to project managers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate and participate in jobsite inspections. (Implementation of corrective actions as required)
- Maintain project safety documentation, site records, and related project documentation.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Communicate with internal teams, field crews, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and mine site representatives as required.
- Develop, implement, and analyze Key Performance Indicators in the areas of Safety and Environment
- Ensure quality of program and company compliance to satisfy external COR audits




- Inspect equipment and machinery to identify and prevent possible unsafe conditions
- Work with foremen to ensure they are clear on safety and environmental requirements
- Ensure project activities comply with company policies, site access requirements, safety standards, quality expectations, and applicable mine site procedures.
- Tracking site orientations, training records, onboarding documents, daily reports, and other documentation required for mine site work.
- Prepare, format, and distribute safety-related reports, letters, notices, and presentations.
- Identify safety issues or delays and escalate concerns to the appropriate project lead.

Qualifications

- Certified Safety Officer (SCO) or (NSCO) designation or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in field safety, electrical field safety, or a related role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation, filing, and data entry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Knowledge of SiteDocs considered an asset




- Basic understanding of industrial electrical work, construction, mining, utilities, contracting, or project site processes is an asset.
- Previous experience supporting projects on mine sites, industrial sites, or other regulated work sites is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Good knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations, policies, guidelines and standards
- Experience reading and understanding environmental legislation and regulations applicable to our industry
- Exceptional attention to documentation detail and consistency of document management
- Friendly attitude with good communication and people skills
- Not afraid to hold people accountable

What We Offer

- Competitive hourly compensation of $40–$46 per hour, based on experience.
- 10-hour working days (7:00am-5:30pm on-site)
- 10 days on, 4 days off rotation
