Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with solid Asset Management or Capital Markets experience to support a technology modernization and re-platforming initiative. The successful candidate will bridge business requirements and technical solutions, helping translate complex legacy systems and business logic into effective target-state solutions.
Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements and functional/non-functional specifications.
- Analyse legacy code and scripts (C#, PowerShell, Python, R, batch scripts, and quantitative libraries) to identify business rules, workflows, data transformations, and integrations.
- Translate technical implementations into business processes, capabilities, and user/system interactions.
- Support system integration, testing, and validation, including validation of quant output parity between legacy and modernized solutions.




- Translate business processes into technical workflows for the target state.
- Collaborate with development and quantitative teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate code analysis and create requirements and specification documentation.

Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Mandatory experience in Asset Management or Capital Markets.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience using AI tools for code analysis and creating specifications or requirements documentation.

Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS-hosted applications.
