We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Journeyperson Powerline Technicians (JPL) to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in powerline construction and maintenance, with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to safe work practices in utility environments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certified Journeyperson Powerline Technician (JPL) Red Seal
- Minimum 5 years of field experience
- Valid DZ driver’s license (mandatory)
Current certifications in:
- Working at Heights (WHA)
- Utility Work Protection Code (UWPC)
- Confined Space Entry
- WHMIS
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and utility construction standards
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and safety-focused workplace
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts
- Weekend work may be required based on operational needs
Compensation:
- Wages are in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement with CUSW
